At the more innovation-focused end of the show floor, the Chemical Fibre Zone draws over 260 exhibitors, with Chinese synthetic leaders such as Fujian Cyclone Technology, Shenghong Group and Huafon Chemical set to unveil high-performance materials. Just steps away, nearly 100 suppliers will fill the Fancy Yarn Zone, led by names including Jiaxing Xiyue Textile Technology, Yulin Yuefang Bleaching And Dyeing and Wuxi Zhonghuai Textile, with seasonal yarns geared towards upcoming fashion collections.
The variety continues in the natural fibre categories. The Cotton Yarn Zone will bring together over 60 exhibitors, such as key players Jiangsu Dasheng Group and Zhoukou Shengtai Textile, and will spotlight cotton yarn solutions with a focus on sustainable materials and dyeing innovation. In the Linen and Silk Yarn Zones, nearly 20 specialists – including Jiangsu Tengyuan Textile and Dashiqiao Silk Spinning Factory – will present high-end silk, linen and blended yarns. Meanwhile, close to 10 exhibitors in the Cashmere and Wool Yarn Zone will showcase how semi-worsted, worsted and carded spinning techniques are advancing ever-further.
An International Zone that spans continents
Alongside its strong domestic base, the fair also reflects a genuinely global presence in its International Zone, with exhibitors from across Africa, Asia and Europe anchored by established names such as Egyptian Co For Flax And Its Products (Egypt), Indorama Ventures (Thailand), Toray Industries Inc (Japan) and The Lurex Company (UK).
The worldwide nature of exhibitors comes further into focus through the show’s country and region pavilions. Organised once again by TEXPROCIL, the India Pavilion will feature exhibitors such as Excel Enterprise, Texperts India Pvt and S.P.Yarns, presenting carded, combed and sustainable cotton yarns, while the Pakistan Zone is set to welcome the likes of Ihsan Cotton Products, NV Tex Sourcing and Xiamen Naseem and their specialised blended and certified organic offerings. The Uzbekistan Pavilion, organised by the Agency for the Development of Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, gathers around eight suppliers presenting high-grade raw cotton and premium ring-spun yarns, alongside the Taiwan Zone, where Sun Yarn Textile, Tah Lee Textile & Tah Yao Textile will show products including functional blends, high-tenacity yarns and sustainable cellulosic fibres.
Beyond the booths: trends, presentations and product launches
At the Tongkun – China Fibre Fashion Trends Display Zone, visitors can get hands-on with the latest domestic developments in high-tech and eco-friendly synthetic fibres, complemented by a press conference unveiling next season’s forecasting report on colour, material and design direction. Looking beyond immediate sourcing needs, the New Fibre New World – Textile Materials Innovation Activities brings together academics, corporate R&D leaders and industry voices to discuss where intelligent textiles and next-generation sustainable materials are heading.
For buyers seeking technical depth straight from the source, a series of 11 product presentations will give exhibitors a platform to present the performance and specifications of their newest yarns and fibres, turning the fair into a prime avenue for discovering products poised to shape upcoming collections.
Yarn Expo Autumn will be held concurrently with Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition, CHIC, and PH Value. The four fairs will bring the fibre and yarn, apparel fabrics and accessories, fashion, and knitted garments industries together under one roof, with the resultant synergy allowing exhibitors and buyers to maximise their business opportunities.
